Tennis Tim Henman will hold a press conference in New York on
Thursday, when he is expected to confirm his plans to retire after the Davis
Cup match at Wimbledon next month, as revealed exclusively in The Times
yesterday. On his official website, Henman said that he still enjoyed
practising and playing matches, but added: “It’s just frustrating that my
body has struggled to cope with what I’ve been asking it to do.
