When is a blister not a normal blister?
How about when the ATP Tour medical staff has to use a lighter to sterilize a pin the size of a small paper clip to puncture the blister in order to relieve the pressure pushing on a toenail?
That’s what had to be done to Juan Monaco’s right foot Wednesday after he upset No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal and then played a doubles match here in the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters.
