クエバス兄弟

兄Pablo（８６年組、RGダブルスチャンピオン）は４８位。
弟Martinは９２年組。去年（２００９年）にプロとなり、現在８８２位。
昨秋のモンテビデオチャレンジャーでは兄弟でペアを組み決勝進出。

弟は今年８月までに５００位以内に、兄は今年こそATP大会に優勝したい、とのこと。

ラファとの会話がマレィのバルセロナ行きのきっかけになった・・と初めて読んだのはこの記事でした。（当時のラファファンサイトRafaelNadal.com掲示板に記事を投稿してくれた人がいた）　

今はどうだか知らないけど、２００３年当時のマレィのテニスアイドルはコリア。

好きなチームはレアルマドリード。アルゼンチンならボカジュニア。（ボカではPipita Higuainがひいき）　←ルイス・ロボ（モナコやナルのコーチ）がフェリをボカの試合に連れていったそうで、そこでの経験（アドレナリン度）はバルサvsレアルやデ杯よりもすごかったとか。
南ア開催のワールドカップに行きたくて何人かで計画中。

デルポは、デ杯といえばはっきり思い出す場面があるそうです。「ガストン・ガウディオがミルニーに勝った日（注：ワールドグループ昇格が決まった一戦）、すごいバックハンド（ロブ？）でマッチポイントが決まり、ラケットを放り出した。観客は総立ちで興奮のるつぼだった」

今のデルポの目標が【デ杯優勝＞ナンバー１】らしいのは、この日のことがよほど印象に残っているからなのかな。
