エギジビ前のインタビューより、ATPの２００９改革案について：

ナダル：以前は、ロッカールーム（の選手たち）は、何というか・・バラバラだった。（選手全体の）呼吸があってなかった。今は全然違う。２００９スケジュール変更について見直そうということになって、検討されている。ＡＴＰが僕たちの声に耳を傾けてくれて、感謝だ。

At his age, I wasn't that interested in this kind of topics. I wasn't confident to talk about that too, and Pete [Sampras] and Andre [Agassi] were the ones involved in that.” Nadal: “In previous years, the locker room was kind of... scattered. Players didn't get along. Now it's totally different. We agreed to review the 2009 schedule changes and the situation is being thought over. We thank the ATP for hearing us.”
