スリチャパン近況など

アジア人選手として初のトップ１０入りを果たしたスリチャパンですが、手首の手術などのため２００７年３月以来公式戦に出ていません。来月のバンコクにプロテクトランキングでエントリーはしていますが、まだやはりシングルスに出るのは無理なのでたぶん欠場。ただし、ダブルスに出る可能性はあるとのこと。

そのスリチャパンは、つい最近レストランをオープンし、またMagic Thaiherbsというハーブ入り製品を扱うビジネスを始めました。ハンドジェルとかの他に「男性の体に効く強壮剤」も扱ってるとか。


そして、スリチャパンの奥様がロマンチックなプロポーズの様子について語りました。バリ島のリッツカールトン。海辺の崖。月夜＆満天の星。ぎこちないスリチャパン。何かが起こる・・という予感。突然スリチャパンがひざまづいてダイヤモンドの指輪を取り出し、「結婚して下さい！」。「Yes!」と現奥様が叫ぶようにして答えるや否や、天の祝福のような柔らかな雨が２人に注ぎましたとさ。

He opened a new restaurant called So-Le on Friday and at the same time launched a herbal-product company called Magic Thaiherbs.

"Unlike Viagra, my product is more like a tonic which is good for men's bodies.

"I'm not in a condition to play singles now. I'd love to play the doubles at the Thailand Open, but we'll see if that can happen."
